MikaZone® MK200E Hydroxyethyl Methyl Cellulose Ether(HEMC) is designed for use in cement-based mortars, especially tile adhesives. It imparts good workability, enhances water retention, and optimizes the motor’s final adhesion strength. MikaZone™ MK200E is compatible with a wide range of building materials.

MK200E is a high-viscosity HEMC product. Unlike HPMC, HEMC is more suitable for use in hot environments due to its higher gelation temperature.
In some hot climate regions, there are certain requirements for the heat resistance of tile adhesive. This type of tile adhesive needs to maintain a stable bonding effect in high-temperature environments. Adding HEMC can achieve this.
Adding HEMC to the external wall insulation system can effectively reduce cracking and powdering during construction, thus extending the lifespan of the materials.

MikaZone cellulose ether products should be stored in a dry and cool environment. The shelf time is 2 years.
In the case of high viscosity grades, a slow viscosity loss can be measured after long-term storage (> 1 year). Inthe course of use, measures must be taken to reseal to avoid moisture absorption once opened.
