A viscosity range of 45,000-55,000 provides excellent viscosity while ensuring outstanding water retention.
The main functions of cellulose ether in wall putty are water retention, improving adhesion and lubricity, preventing cracking and powdering caused by rapid water loss, enhancing the putty’s adhesion, and reducing the occurrence of sagging during application.
MK100P has high water retention properties. When added to the slurry, it significantly improves its performance, allowing for complete cement hydration and noticeably increasing the bonding strength.
If moisture is lost too quickly after applying repair mortar, it can cause incomplete cement hydration, compromising strength and adhesion. Cellulose ether creates a three-dimensional network within the mortar, effectively retaining moisture and ensuring sufficient water for proper hydration during the curing process.
For projects with higher quality requirements, you may need better anti-slip properties and enhanced rheology capabilities. MK100PR( R – Slip-resistance,Improved Rheology ). is an upgraded version of MK100P, designed specifically for customers with more demanding needs.

MikaZone cellulose ether products should be stored in a dry and cool environment. The shelf time is 2 years.
In the case of high viscosity grades, a slow viscosity loss can be measured after long-term storage (> 1 year). Inthe course of use, measures must be taken to reseal to avoid moisture absorption once opened.
MikaZone cellulose ethers are classified as non-hazardous material, please refer to the (Material) Safety Data Sheet(MSDS/SDS) or contact our service team for further information on safety.
