MikaZone® MK30HE Hydroxyethyl Cellulose ether(HEC) is designed for water-based coatings. It is an excellent thickener in water-based paint and coatings. MikaZone® MK30HEB is especially for biological resistance.

MK30HE has a relatively low viscosity, yet it boasts excellent application performance, effectively enhancing the quality of coatings and paints.
Latex paints with HEC are easier to apply as HEC enhances the suspension stability and viscosity of the paint, preventing pigment settling, sagging, and dripping.
HEC is widely used in natural stone coatings to enhance the adhesion and coverage of the coating, ensuring uniform coverage on the stone surface. It also increases the water resistance and weather resistance of the coating, extending its lifespan.
HEC can enhance the suspension stability of coatings, preventing solid particle sedimentation and ensuring uniform distribution of the coating. It also improves the water resistance and weather resistance of the coating, enhancing its durability.

MikaZone cellulose ether products should be stored in a dry and cool environment. The shelf time is 2 years.
In the case of high viscosity grades, a slow viscosity loss can be measured after long-term storage (> 1 year). Inthe course of use, measures must be taken to reseal to avoid moisture absorption once opened.
