Low viscosity HEC can provide a certain thickening effect while making the coating easier to apply, avoiding issues like sagging and dripping.
High viscosity grade: For coatings that require higher viscosity to enhance anti-sag properties and storage stability, such as exterior paints or some specialty coatings, high viscosity HEC is more suitable. High viscosity HEC can help the coating maintain good adhesion on vertical surfaces, reduce sagging caused by gravity, and maintain a stable state during storage, minimizing issues like layering and precipitation.
